I'm a software engineer in McLean, Virginia, working mostly on backend and distributed systems — the request paths, pipelines and infrastructure that only get noticed when they break.
Most of what I enjoy sits at the boundary between systems: forking live traffic without disturbing it, keeping two databases honest against each other, deciding what a Spark job should shuffle. The projects are largely about that boundary.
